New Department of Transportation (DOT) drug- and alcohol-testing regulations took effect August 25. The changes to 49 CFR Part 40 contain new or revised guidance on issues related to adulterated, substituted, diluted, and invalid urine specimens.

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security's (DHS) has announced the 5th annual National Preparedness Month (NPM).
