Confined Spaces

National Summary

OSHA's Confined Space regulation requires a comprehensive space-entry program to be implemented. Entry into a confined space must be by permit only and limited to "authorized entrants." There are various safety precautions that must be observed such as testing the confined space, monitoring of entrants, and establishing retrieval procedures.
