Enforcement (including Violations )
National Summary

Enforcement is an important component of OSHA's compliance efforts. Inspectors will examine a facility's occupational safety and health program to determine whether it is in compliance with all applicable regulations. Noncompliance can result in civil and even criminal penalties, with the most serious violations carrying a possible jail sentence.
