OSHA taking its message of protection outside

OSHA has renewed a 2-year alliance with Lamar Outdoor Advertising to promote safety and health for younger workers, vulnerable workers, and those in the construction and transportation industries. The partners will develop an outdoor advertising presentation for OSHA compliance officers and will promote activities including OSHA’s national emphasis programs.

Lamar and OSHA have collaborated in the past to bring attention to issues like heat illness, struck-by hazards, and distracted driving. OSHA Chief Dr. David Michaels said: “Our renewed alliance will continue our commitment to provide training and educational and outreach tools that promote worker safety.”
