It includes machine accidents and injuries, and methods of reducing or eliminating these hazards, other than machine guarding which is covered under its own topic. The many hazards of machinery include mechanical hazards, such as being caught or crushed; electrical hazards, including fire; and hearing hazards from excessive noise.
