Ask the Experts Overview
The purpose of Ask The Experts (ATE) is to help connect workplace employment, safety, and environment questions to the material provided by BLR on its websites. While the service is defined as providing advice, it is assistance to help bridge the gap between the BLR compliance resources and our client's workplace issues. It is not a legal opinion or replacement for seeking legal counsel. Our client's first step is to conduct a thorough search of the online materials at BLR's web sites. If they are unable to find the appropriate materials or relate the information to their specific challenge they may submit a question via the ATE service.
BLR's Legal Editors will provide thorough explanations of the materials with links back to the site content and/or suggestions for additional resources. BLR's response to an ATE question is advice based on a general review of widely available sources at their disposal. If a question is beyond, or not included in BLR's topic scope, our editors will advise the client about where to seek additional support/help/information.
Single-user annual subscribers are limited to ten (10), single ATE questions per membership year. A “single” question is one that pertains to one subject and does not require a multipart answer. Questions will be acknowledged within 24 hours of receipt, and generally be answered within three (3) business days. For more information on the Terms and Conditions governing BLR's Ask the Experts service, see http://www.blr.com/About/Legal-Terms.
